Zara Larsson is having the best year of her career. The Swedish singer is not ready to wrap up the Midnight Sun era just yet. She just put out the music video for fan-favorite “Blue Moon,” which is now officially the fourth single from the album.
She first announced the video during the Q&A portion of her soundcheck at one of her shows in LA last month. She described this video as the start of “an era within an era,” adding that Midnight Sun has a sunny aesthetic with pink and yellow colors while “Blue Moon” has a more ocean-like theme. I think it’s very appropriate that it was released right after the summer. The vibes are all there.
The video is directed by Charlotte Rutherford, who also directed Larsson’s videos for the “Stateside” remix with PinkPantheress and “Midnight Sun.”
